The Annova LNG Brownsville Project would transform the Rio Grande Valley into an energy hub while minimizing the impact on local habitats and wildlife.
The project would also mean less flaring in the Eagle Ford Shale while fueling the transition from coal to cleaner burning natural gas at power stations across the globe.
Natural gas is the cleanest burning fossil fuel and is being used throughout the world to as alternative energy source to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. LNG is odorless, non-toxic and non-corrosive. When exposed to the environment, LNG rapidly evaporates, leaving no residue on water or soil. If spilled, LNG would not result in a slick because 100 percent of it evaporates to a gas leaving no residue behind.
